Holt is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist London artist who sets ethereal, multi-layered vocals within cinematic soundscapes against electronic beats. Particular influences include the ethereal sounds of Bjork, Bat for Lashes and Enya and the beats and percussion of Massive Attack and Nils Frahm. Mirror Through You is Holt’s latest EP, following singles The Riverbed and Found My Way. Written, recorded and produced during lockdown, the EP draws on themes of isolation and loss - but is also a celebration of the omnipotence of nature. Holt's first instrumental EP, Painted Sound was released in November 2020 and a previous vocal EP, Heavy Water, was released in November 2019 following singles Hand in Glove, Silo and Tower. All produced by Jamal Hadaway (Hope Tala). Holt's debut album Reveal was released in 2017. In addition to her own projects (some of which have been used in TV), Holt has written music for films and documentaries.
