Long before it was politically correct to be “green”, Cali native, K-Natural, born Dennis Taylor was weaned on principals of compassion, commitment and dedication to self, and community, at the hand of his grandmother; an active political leader in their South Central, Los Angeles neighborhood. As part of a well respected and well known family, which includes his sister, actress Shar Jackson, it was inevitable that the entertainer’s rock star persona would lead him to the forefront as well. Although the West Coast hip-hop scene tends to get stereotyped for its Chuck Taylor’s, Khaki’s and Low-low’s, K-Natural is far from gangsta rap, but he does rep Cali- living to the fullest. The easy going lyricist is more of a modern day intelligent hoodlum, aka a computer geek. The tech savvy emcee appreciates the lighter side of West Coast riding at the skate park and hanging out at the beach. Feel good, fun is what people enjoy about the sunny side and K-Natural is no different.
