Metic

Metic began his musical journey on the piano and drums before he fell for guitar as his expression of choice. His emotive guitar layers through all his works across many genres ranging from ambient, downtempo, and various subgenres of instrumental hip hop. He started producing in the early 2010s and built up a SoundCloud audience through originals and remixes. Some notable achievements include winning a remix contest hosted by The Glitch Mob and topping Hype Machine charts in the summers of 2013 and 2014 with his Nuthin' but a G Thang remix. After an extended hiatus and personal struggles, he returned to music in 2018 and formed Horizon Terminal with his longtime friend Lamchop. Since then, he has moved to New York from his hometown of Hong Kong to further hone his sound, and Soul Feather is his first album release since and captures the emotions between firm roots in Hong Kong and new sprouts in New York.
