Carlos Dengler

Carlos Dengler is an American composer, multi-instrumentalist, essayist and actor living in New York City. His music traffics primarily in New Age textures with ambient touches, fusing a long nurtured passion for contemplative music with the keyboard style of his early work with the band Interpol. His music practice is based on his naturalist persuasions which are nurtured through frequent backpacking excursions into wild spaces such as national parks and national forests. Like Emerson and other transcendentalists, Carlos believes that nature holds the key to unvarnished truth. His music seeks to channel that belief.
