'Homesick' was inspired by my first year off at college during which I was incredibly lonely.

I felt quite isolated for a variety of reasons; too much weed smoking, my girlfriend at the time living 100 miles away, and my resistance to making new friends.

I missed my home, my family, and my way of life.

Luckily things are better now but I still reflect on those times quite often.
