"From my debut album 'Phoenix' (2018, Ropeadope). This was the first single from the record. Composed in the first year of my move to New York City in 2009, then finally recorded in 2016 at Fantasy Studios in California. J. Hoard wrote the lyrics after it was recorded and overdubbed the vocals.'
