PAPER.

PAPER. is the project of Czech/American singer, songwriter, and music producer Pavel Czernek. 'Nobody Takes the Metro in L.A.', his debut EP, was released independently in February 2023. The tracks center around intimate field recordings Czernek collected in Los Angeles in the summer of 2022. Audio from conversations with his loved ones, poolside BBQ’s, and his daily commute are woven together with nostalgic melodies, pulsing mid-tempo beats, and rich sub basses, coalescing in a cinematic emotional soundscape. Czernek remains hard at work in the studio, with his second EP of 2023 planned for release in early May.
